Prototype notice
ChartsHub is a development prototype. This page is a technical disclosure, not a finalized legal privacy policy. The operator must supply contact details, retention periods, applicable legal terms and hosting-provider information before launch.
Stored data
Account: username, verified email, salted password hash, sessions, account preferences, likes, follows, collections and creator-profile settings. Messages and attachments are kept on the private server. Support payments take place on external services, not ChartsHub. Source-click counters are approximate, not completed-download metrics.
Discovery features
ChartsHub stores creator release announcements, song requests, request authorship and votes linked to accounts, and the latest Drive source-check results and times. Unreviewed song requests are visible to the administrator, not the public. Account deletion removes a member's announcements and requests, anonymizes their votes by removing them, and clears source-check records for disconnected charts. The site only checks public Drive folder accessibility on a creator's manual request; it does not verify individual audio files, copyrights or successful downloads.
Uploads
Uploaded images are re-encoded and sent to an external image moderation API. Legacy pictures lacking a recorded review are hidden in production until the creator reuploads them. In production, attachments must pass antivirus screening; documents are held for administrator review; video uploads and existing video downloads are disabled in production pending a dedicated safety pipeline. No scanning system guarantees that content is safe, lawful, or copyright-cleared.
Reporting & removal
Use the report function on a chart or private message for abusive or infringing material. Administrators review reports and can unpublish charts and remove attachments. For rights requests or a privacy inquiry, the operator must publish a real contact address before opening the site.
Delete your account
In Account settings, enter your password and DELETE MY ACCOUNT to remove account information, your own messages and attachments, and disconnect your creator folders. Other users' messages may remain under a non-identifying Deleted account label. Encrypted, access-controlled backup copies can persist until the operator's backup-retention period expires; a retention policy must be defined before launch.
